Andrew Lewinton – QHSE Director ABM UK

Andrew is an accomplished Health and Safety professional with over 22 years of experience in the safety industry working for large FM businesses. Andrew has a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders delivering strategic and tactical solutions to underpin the business strategy.

Andrew joined ABM Aviation business in 2017 and moved into the role of QHSE Director ABM UK in March 2020 and has worked within the Service industry for over 29 years. He has a wealth of experience in health, safety, environment, quality, compliance and risk management in transport and facilities Management services and several different service business sectors. Andrew is a member of the Heathrow Airport Ltd Safety Steering Group in developing strategies for influencing Heathrow Community Health, Safety & Well-being excellence. Andrew is flexible, adaptable and embraces change as a key member of ABM’s senior team.

Chris Townsend – Senior HR Director

Chris joined ABM in January 2019. He has over 30 years of HR experience at all levels of HR and 28 years in the Facilities Services sector across the UK, Middle East, and Europe. Having managed large HR teams, supporting over 50,000 employees operating in just about every sector of industry and commerce including Retail, Aviation, Real Estate, Manufacturing, MOD, Central and Local Government, Healthcare, Logistics, and Distribution, to name a few.

Chris is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD) and a holder of an MBA from Henley Management College.

He also mentors aspiring HR Directors and new HR professionals for CIPD

In his current role, Chris leads all aspects of HR in the UK including Business Partnering, Talent Attraction, Learning and Development, Employee Communication, and HR Shared Services. He also leads on Sustainability across the UK.
